Santa spreads seasonal joy at William Brookes’
28/12/2008Some say he likes to drive French cars with plenty of va va voom. Some say he is like a candle without wax. We just know him as the Santa, and he’s dropped in to the dining hall to dish out presents for this year’s Sixth Form Secret Santa.
After distributing the weird and whacky gifts, our special visitor enjoyed our Christmas Celebration Assemblies, which included excellent performances from the Sixth Form band; a superb Year 11 dance by Lucy, Jess, Jordan and Amie (thanks Lauren); a Year 9 video of their commendable charity efforts; a fantastic rendition of Hallelujah by Tom and Ffion; a couple of songs from our Aladdin pantomime and, of course, Mrs Cooper’s end of year address. As you’ll see from the photo, this is not the real Santa - just an impersonation from a member of staff who really could do with eating a few more mince pies before he can pull the wool over our eyes.
To uncover the imposter’s identity, simply decipher the first two sentences of this article.
